The return of the Constitutional Avenger

Program weekend was a *great* weekend, though a bit more disorganized than last year. There weren't that many first-year Resource Advisors this year, so Luke and I snagged our own group of eighth graders for the weekend's training. I won the "Kerry 'Boyder' Boyd Award of Longevity" award again this year, being the RA who just seems to keep coming back. I'll be damned if I buckle to the push to regular "adult" Advisor. I will have to talk to Werm, the RA king, about being a Program Specialist.

I always am careful to keep my pointy Libertarian teeth out of the flesh of the students' discussions, but I couldn't help but leap off of the rostrum and issue a point of information when a student told the [LCP] House that the US Constitution quotes "separation of church and state". I kind of feel bad, as she was one of the better participants we had, but nobody should let anything like that slide. Luke later referred to me as a vampire-like creature who will swoop from the rafters to maim anyone who refers to the Constitution in a misquoted or misinterpretive manner, that can only be deterred by the noxious flatulence of Luke. This is true on many levels.
